Qualifications

• Must have experience in compliance advisory or surveillance within financial markets.
• Strong understanding of energy derivatives and commodity markets.
• Knowledge of UK regulation (MAR, MiFID II/MiFIR, EMIR) and market conduct.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day compliance advisory support to Front Office and trading-related functions.
• Support the delivery and development of the compliance framework.
• Undertake trade and communications surveillance and escalate issues.
• Assist with market conduct, investigations, and regulatory inquiries.
• Provide input on commodity derivatives trading activities and regulatory obligations.
• Support monitoring programmes, reviews, testing, and documenting findings.
• Review and maintain compliance policies and associated documentation.
• Assist with internal investigations, audits and training.
• Undertake additional compliance activities in a small, dynamic team.
