Shift pattern: Rotating pattern (Days & Nights / 6-6 12 hour shifts)

What is our Energy Centre?

Our Aylesbury dairy is the first zero carbon milk processing facility in the world. As part of the plant, we have built an Energy Centre that supplies all essential utilities to the dairy including: steam, hot water, fresh air supply to the dairy (AHU/HVAC), electricity, refrigeration and a wastewater treatment plant (including anaerobic digestion and CHPs).

How would you add value

• Provide critical breakdown support and corrective maintenance across site equipment including Boilers, refrigeration, ETP, cooling towers, AHU/HVAC and general services.
• Carry out planned, preventative maintenance and servicing activities as planned via the CMMS system
• Troubleshoot and diagnose breakdowns using structure problem solving techniques and drive continuous improvement to improve operational efficiencies.
• Champion health and safety by adhering to safety standards, SOPs and participating in risk assessment
• Support and lean into projects across the site, both small and large, actively inputting to site development and performance.

• Time served apprentice within a relevant discipline (such as mechanical or electrical)
• A positive and resilient approach to problem solving, team working, and continuous improvement
• You will need to have previous work experience within a similar sector such as building ser-vices or facilities management
• Suitable industry experience could also include water treatment, industrial facilities management, anaerobic digestion, commercial shipping or facilities maintenance.

• The capacity of Aylesbury Dairy is 1.03 billion litres annually. This means our dairy accounts for 75% of the entire UK Dairy industry
• 16 raw milk silos; with the ability to store 4,800,000 litres of raw milk
• Arla Aylesbury is our biggest & most automated net carbon zero dairy site processing over 1 billion litres of the UK's favourite milk for our supermarket customers. Each of our fillers runs at 17,000 bottles an hour.
