Job Description:

We are looking for experienced Senior Managers and Directors to join our thriving and award-winning energy and water team.

Our Energy and Water practice is a dynamic, award-winning team of experts dedicated to tackling the Utilities sector's most pressing challenges, including driving the transition to Net Zero. Work abroad.

Our clients rely on our industry experience, knowledge, and pragmatic approach to solve challenges across Retail Energy, Energy Networks, and Water sectors, supporting market reform, decarbonisation, digital transformation, and sustainable practices.

What you will be doing

This role offers an entrepreneurial opportunity to help grow our energy and water team, delivering a different experience for clients and employees. As a privately held LLP, there is potential for future admission to an equity Partnership.

• Be a trusted advisor to clients, helping identify, assess, design, and implement solutions to complex business challenges.
• Scope and deliver complex change programmes under challenging market conditions.
• Lead blended project teams of Baringa and client personnel in high-visibility industry projects.
• Contribute to practice leadership, business development, and go-to-market strategies.

Your skills and experience

Senior Manager requires 8+ years of consulting experience; Director requires 10+ years, with deep utilities sector expertise. We value professionals with a track record in:

• Building trusted client relationships at senior levels.
• Leading and nurturing blended teams.
• Delivering complex client engagements with tangible outcomes.
• Strong commercial awareness and business development skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and presentation skills.
• Ability to explain complex concepts simply.

Preferred experience or specialism in areas such as:

• Digital: Experience with digital platforms, AI, and data solutions in utilities.
• Customer: Knowledge of customer processes, billing, metering, and regulatory improvements.
• Field Services: Experience in field service transformation for performance and net zero.
• Network Infrastructure: Investment, asset management, and digital enablement in utilities.
• Energy Distribution: Knowledge of DSO, flexibility markets, grid connection, and reforms.

Focus on UK & Ireland markets, with international experience advantageous.
