Job summary

WSP is hiring graduates to join our Energy Advisory teams in 2027, offering a two‑year Graduate Development Programme designed to build skills, experience and a professional network. You will work on energy strategy, asset performance, and investment planning with national and international clients.

You will gain exposure to technical, strategic and data‑led projects across grid connections, power system studies and network innovation, developing practical advice for a lower‑carbon future.

Qualifications

• You will have, or be on track to achieve, at least a 2:2 in a relevant bachelor's or master's degree.
• You will be looking to start work in April or September 2027.
• You will be interested in energy systems, electricity networks, asset performance, strategy, resilience, regulation or low-carbon technologies.
• You will be curious, analytical and motivated to solve technical, strategic and commercial energy challenges.
• You will be comfortable working with others, sharing ideas and learning from different specialists across project teams.
• You will want to create value for clients through technical insight, commercial awareness and data-led thinking.
• You will be keen to learn, take ownership and build your career across Energy Advisory.

Responsibilities

• Support clients to understand how energy systems are changing and make better investment decisions.
• Assist in improving asset performance and planning secure, affordable, low-carbon infrastructure.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams across Asset Management, Power Systems Advisory and Energy Strategy Consulting.
