Job summary

Chelsea Hall School in London is seeking an energetic Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated team. You will work closely with teachers, therapists, other teaching assistants and parents.

Responsibilities

• Assist teaching staff to plan and prepare lessons and resources within the school curriculum.
• Make and prepare resources for teaching and therapy staff.
• Reinforce targets throughout the school day.
• Support students both within the class and during unstructured situations.
• Maintain detailed case notes of all children seen and update pupils’ profiles and behaviour plans.
• Follow school procedures in reporting incidents and safeguarding concerns.
• Act as a resource and support for other staff members working with the children.
• Participate in supervision and support as required.
