Job summary

The Ultimate Activity Company seeks an Early Years Instructor to safeguard and engage 4- and 5-year-olds on camp, delivering structured sports, art and play in line with EYFS. You will support welfare under the EY Leader and act as a caring, energetic presence for children and their families during the holiday camp sessions.

You will lead activities, adapt delivery to ability, and help create a fun, safe environment. A pre-camp training programme and safeguarding checks accompany the role.

Qualifications

• EYFS knowledge and ability to deliver activities for 4-5 year olds.
• Level 2 childcare or working towards a related degree.
• Paediatric First Aid or First Aid at Work qualification desirable.
• Paid pre-camp training programme and safeguarding checks are part of the process.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver activities for 4-5 year olds, focusing on participation, development and enjoyment.
• Promote welfare and ensure all camp policies are followed.
• Attend Camp Induction Day to integrate into the team.
• Lead a group; liaise with EY Leader and parents as needed.
• Supervise children outside activity times.
• Adapt activities to meet individual needs and diverse backgrounds.
• Represent the Ultimate Activity Company in a positive, professional manner.
• Perform ad-hoc duties (cleaning, equipment maintenance, etc.).
