Job summary

We are seeking an IT Project Manager to join a world-leading Energy Trading company. The role is a contract based in London, Waterloo, focusing on Endur hosting, Endur To-Be purging and North America emissions redesign, with scope to other pre-project initiatives.

Responsibilities include discovery, shaping, governance and cross-functional delivery across business, data and technology domains. Extensive stakeholder engagement and Agile/Waterfall delivery are required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience defining and shaping projects from early-stage concepts or problem statements.
• Discovery, assessment and mobilisation experience with governance and control.
• Ability to define scope, requirements and business outcomes for delivery.
• Experience creating business cases, investment proposals and charters.
• Strong governance, reporting and stakeholder engagement across matrix organisations.
• Extensive planning, budgeting, forecasting and tracking capabilities.
• Experience managing risks, issues, dependencies and changes.
• Delivery across business, process, data and technology domains in large firms.
• Endur ETRM knowledge or experience in energy/trading environments.
• PM certification (PMP/PRINCE2/MSP or equivalent) recognized.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery and shaping activities for pre-project initiatives.
• Translate objectives into clearly defined project scopes and deliverables.
• Establish requirements, success measures, risks and dependencies.
• Engage business and IT stakeholders to assess current processes and data.
• Develop project charters, scope documents, roadmaps and mobilisation plans.
• Produce business cases, investment requests and executive recommendations.
• Define resource needs, delivery approaches and governance structures.
• Manage cross-project dependencies and align with programme roadmap.
• Plan, execute and control projects per the organisation's framework.
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams and report to governance forums.
