Job summary

Ashford and St. Peters Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in England is seeking nurses and support workers to join the Endoscopy Unit for a 6-month secondment.

The team is enthusiastic, independent and committed, offering a supportive, friendly environment and extensive development opportunities, including out-of-hours rota exposure to GI procedures. The unit operates from 8am to 7pm, seven days a week, delivering high-quality patient-focused care.

Qualifications

• RGN registered with the NMC and current UK professional registration.
• Evidence of continuing professional development is essential.
• Endoscopy experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist clinical support and knowledge to patients within the Endoscopy Unit.
• Act as an effective role model and demonstrate leadership in the absence of senior staff.
• Contribute to developing a stimulating learning environment for ongoing professional development of staff and students.
• Support the Head of Nursing in creating a positive working atmosphere and efficient use of resources.
• Participate in Emergency Out of hours rota.
• Develop effective working relationships with patients, carers and multidisciplinary team.
