We are pleased to offer a full-time band 5 staff nurse position within the endoscopy team at Darlington Memorial Hospital. We welcome applications from both experienced and newly qualified nurses.

The endoscopy service performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for inpatients and outpatients in two dedicated procedure rooms.
We provide comprehensive training to ensure all competencies are achieved through knowledge and practical assessments. Each new team member is supported by a mentor who holds regular meetings to foster a friendly, supportive environment. Mentors guide trainees through all aspects of the endoscopy training program, including:

From April 9th, 2025, healthcare assistants must have at least two years of NHS experience to be considered for sponsorship, which is only available if your visa is expiring within three months.

Salary: £29,970 to £36,483 per annum / pro-rata
