Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting for an Endoscope Reprocessing Technician to join the Endoscope and Reprocessing Units at Royal Albert Edward Infirmary and Leigh Infirmary. The role covers both sites with 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am-6pm, and requires weekend work as per the roster.
You will follow SOPs and QMS, reprocess reusable flexible endoscopes, document work, and operate decontamination equipment under supervision.

THIS VACANCY IS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR SPONSORSHIP. To participate in the provision of specialised decontamination of flexible endoscopes contributing to the clinical care of our patients. To carry out receipt, manual cleaning and reprocessing of reusable flexible endoscopes. Work in accordance with the Department's standard Operating Procedures and Quality Management Systems. Plan your own workload with limited supervision. The role involves exposure to body fluids. This role does not communicate with patients.
