Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting for an Endoscope Reprocessing Technician to join the Endoscope and Reprocessing Units at Royal Albert Edward Infirmary and Leigh Infirmary. The role covers both sites with 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am-6pm, and requires weekend work as per the roster.

You will follow SOPs and QMS, reprocess reusable flexible endoscopes, document work, and operate decontamination equipment under supervision.

Qualifications

• Endoscope reprocessing experience desirable
• Ability to work to SOPs and QMS
• Attention to detail and numeracy

Responsibilities

• Reprocess reusable flexible endoscopes and perform manual cleaning and disinfection
• Maintain and document work in controlled environment
• Operate decontamination equipment and carry out routine tests
• Work across Royal Albert Edward Infirmary and Leigh Infirmary sites
• Participate in weekend rota and ensure high quality standards
