Job summary

Nuffield Health Shrewsbury Hospital is seeking an Endoscopy Practitioner (ODP or RN) to join the bank team on ad hoc shifts. You must be registered with the governing body (NMC or HCPC) and have post-registration endoscopy experience. You will work within a multi-disciplinary team using state-of-the-art endoscopy facilities.

As an Endoscopy Practitioner (ODP or RN) at our hospital, you’ll be focused, detail-oriented empathetic with great communication skills. You’re registered with the appropriate governing body, and you bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration, including NMC or HCPC. With post-registration experience in an endoscopy environment.

As an Endoscopy Practitioner (ODP or RN), you will:

Shrewsbury hospital, ranked as 'Good' in the last CQC inspection, is purpose built and well equipped with 30 en-suite bedrooms, 3 operating theatres, an endoscopy suite, an Ambulatory Care Unit, and a busy outpatients department which includes physiotherapy and diagnostic imaging. Our diagnostic provision includes X-ray, Ultrasound, MRI and CT facilities.

We offer the most up to date surgical treatments combined with a warm welcome and a professional and caring service from our matron-led nursing team. We specialise in the areas of orthopaedics, ophthalmology, cosmetic surgery, and women's health, but also undertake general surgery, urology, and interventions for chronic pain management.
