Job summary

The Chiltern Hospital in Great Missenden, part of Circle Health Group, is recruiting an Endoscopy Practitioner for a 37.5 hour week with a flexible shift pattern. The role offers a salary up to £40,000 depending on experience and qualifications.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality endoscopy care, maintain infection control standards and participate in service development. Applicants must be registered with NMC or HCPC and hold endoscopy qualifications.

Qualifications

• Registered Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration.
• Basic and advanced Competence / qualification in Endoscopy Care and Decontamination.
• Operators Course in Endoscopy Decontamination.
• Teaching / Assessing / mentorship qualifications Knowledge of external bodies (Care Quality Commission, GRS, JAG, HTM 01-06).
• ILS.

Responsibilities

• Support the team to deliver care that helps improve the health of the individual and wider community.
• Support the team in demonstrating compassion through effective relationships based on empathy, respect and dignity.
• Develop own competence to deliver effective care and treatments through improving clinical/technical knowledge / skill, and expertise.
• Communicate appropriately with others involved in the care of the patient.
• Act as an advocate for safeguarding patients; demonstrate courage to speak up when there are concerns about care.
• Demonstrate commitment to improving care and the patient experience.

The Chiltern Hospital in Great Missenden is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.
We have an opportunity for an Endoscopy Practitioner to join their team of staff.
This is a full time role for 37.5 hours per week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties of this role include:

• Support the team to deliver care that helps improve the health of the individual and wider community.
