Job summary

The Chiltern Hospital in Great Missenden, part of Circle Health Group, is seeking an Endoscopy Practitioner to join as a full-time, permanent team member.

You will cover a flexible shift pattern across 37.5 hours weekly, delivering high-quality endoscopy care and maintaining patient safety and dignity.

Qualifications

• Registered with NMC or HCPC.
• Basic and advanced competence in Endoscopy Care and Decontamination.
• Operators Course in Endoscopy Decontamination.
• Teaching/Assessing/mentorship qualifications.
• Knowledge of Care Quality Commission, GRS, JAG and HTM 01-06.
• ILS training or certification.

• Support the team to deliver care improving health of individuals and community.

Job Description

The Chiltern Hospital in Great Missenden is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country. We have an opportunity for an Endoscopy Practitioner to join their team of staff. This is a full-time role for 37.5 hours per week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties of this role include:

• Support the team to deliver care that helps improve the health of the individual and wider community.
• Support the team in demonstrating compassion through effective relationships based on empathy, respect and dignity.
• Develop own competence to deliver effective care and treatments through improving clinical/technical knowledge / skill, and expertise.
• Communicate appropriately with others involved in the care of the patient.
• Act as an advocate for safeguarding patients; demonstrate courage to speak up when there are concerns about care.
• Demonstrate commitment to improving care and the patient experience.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• Registered Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration.
• Basic and advanced Competence / qualification in Endoscopy Care and Decontamination.
• Operators Course in Endoscopy Decontamination.
• Teaching / Assessing / mentorship qualifications
• Knowledge of appropriate standards and external bodies (Care Quality Commission, GRS, JAG, HTM 01 -06).
• ILS.
