Job summary
The Endoscopy Unit at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is one of the UK's largest, delivering up to 40,000 procedures annually. This Nursing Associate role involves rotating between NN UH and the Quadram Institute, with some on-call 2–3 times per month and no routine night or weekend shifts.
You’ll join a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality care across therapeutic, diagnostic and inpatient settings.
Qualifications
- Registered Nursing Associates with post-registration experience at Band 4 level.
- Experience working in an acute setting.
- Strong commitment to personal and professional development.
- Passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, person-centred care in line with the NMC Code and Trust policies.
- Support patients' physical, mental, and emotional health needs, promoting independence and dignity.
- Undertake and record clinical observations; escalate deterioration when needed.
- Administer medications and delegated clinical procedures within competence framework.
- Maintain accurate, timely, confidential patient records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, colleagues and other healthcare professionals.
