Job summary

18 Week Support is seeking a motivated Endoscopy Nurse to support endoscopy clinics across Dorset. You will join a dedicated multidisciplinary team delivering high‑quality patient care through the endoscopy pathway, assisting with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as gastroscopy, colonoscopy, bronchoscopy and ERCP.

The role requires a minimum of 6 months’ experience as an Endoscopy Nurse within the last 12 months and NHS experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in endoscopy nursing and NHS settings considered essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialised care to patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures (gastroscopy, colonoscopy, bronchoscopy, ERCP).
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of patient care.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort, following endoscopy protocols.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients and colleagues.
• Adapt to flexible shifts and work independently or as part of a team.

18 Week Support are seeking a motivated and compassionate Endoscopy Nurse to support our Endoscopy clinics across Dorset. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated, multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality patient care throughout the endoscopy pathway. As an Endoscopy Nurse, you will provide specialised care to patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, such as gastroscopy, colonoscopy, bronchoscopy, and ERCP.,

• Be flexible, motivated, an excellent communicator and team worker
• Join a close-knit team headed by our matron on our consultant-led ward
• Fully understand and pay close attention to each patient's needs
• Work directly with some of the best clinical talent around
• Collaborate with practitioners across other departments to ensure continuity in patient care
  Minimum of 6 months' experience working as an Endoscopy Nurse over the last 12 months
• Previous experience within the NHS is essential
• Local nurses within 50 Miles of Hampshire
• Strong understanding of endoscopy procedures and equipment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable and committed to delivering safe, effective care
