George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust in Nuneaton is recruiting for a Band 5 Endoscopy role on a fixed-term 9‑month contract. Full time 37.5 hours per week across a six‑day working pattern, job ref 230-34693985-PCD-B.

The post involves working in a JAG-accredited Endoscopy unit providing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, with a comprehensive training package and a buddy/mentor to support competency development.

Aufgaben

• The endoscopy unit is a JAG accredited unit. We undertake diagnostic and therapeutic procedures (upper GI, lower GI and respiratory procedures).
• There are a lot of training opportunities, including a comprehensive training package of which you will be supported by our own practice educator facilitator. A buddy/mentor will be allocated to you to support your training, assist you in completing your competencies.
• The endoscopy unit is a fast passed area with 4 procedure rooms, you would be required to work in all areas of the unit- prep/procedure rooms/decontamination & recovery.
