Job summary

Sirona Medical Limited in Dumfries is recruiting an experienced Endoscopy Nurse to join a weekend insourcing contract at Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary, supporting endoscopy lists and helping reduce patient waiting times.

This weekend-only role offers a flexible weekend schedule with a competitive daily rate and a dedicated staffing team to ensure smooth ongoing weekend work in a fast-paced endoscopy environment.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (NMC registered) with endoscopy experience.
• Experience assisting with endoscopic procedures in NHS or equivalent setting.
• Up-to-date PVG clearance or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Support endoscopy lists and help reduce patient waiting times.
• Work within the endoscopy unit across gastroscopy, colonoscopy and flexible sigmoidoscopy.

Sirona Medical is recruiting an experienced Endoscopy Nurses to join a weekend insourcing contract at Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary, supporting endoscopy lists and helping reduce patient waiting times.

About The Role

This is a weekend only position, ideal for an endoscopy nurse looking to supplement their income or work flexibly alongside a substantive post. You'll be working within a well established endoscopy service, supporting theatre lists across procedures such as gastroscopy, colonoscopy, and flexible sigmoidoscopy.

Key Details

• Weekend working only (Saturday/Sunday)
• £300 per day
• Ongoing insourcing contract - regular weekend availability required
• Working within the endoscopy unit at Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary

What We're Looking For

• Registered Nurse (NMC registered) with current endoscopy experience
• Experience assisting with or performing endoscopic procedures in an NHS or equivalent clinical setting
• Up to date mandatory training and PVG clearance (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong team player, comfortable working within a fast paced insourcing list environment
