Job summary

Sirona Medical Ltd is recruiting an experienced Endoscopy Nurse to join a weekend insourcing contract at Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary, supporting endoscopy lists and helping reduce patient waiting times. This is a weekend only position and ideal for flexible clinicians.

You’ll work within a busy endoscopy unit, assisting with procedures such as gastroscopy, colonoscopy and flexible sigmoidoscopy. You must be NMC registered, have endoscopy experience, PVG clearance, and be a strong team

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (NMC) with current endoscopy experience.
• Experience assisting with or performing endoscopic procedures in NHS or equivalent settings.
• Up-to-date mandatory training and PVG clearance (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong team player, comfortable in a fast-paced insourcing list environment.

Responsibilities

• Support endoscopy lists and help reduce patient waiting times.
• Work within the endoscopy unit at Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary.
• Assist with procedures such as gastroscopy, colonoscopy and flexible sigmoidoscopy.

Pay: £300 per day Outside IR35

About the role:

This is a weekend only position, ideal for an endoscopy nurse looking to supplement their income or work flexibly alongside a substantive post. You'll be working within a well established endoscopy service, supporting theatre lists across procedures such as gastroscopy, colonoscopy, and flexible sigmoidoscopy.

Key details:

• Weekend working only (Saturday/Sunday)
• £300 per day
• Ongoing insourcing contract - regular weekend availability required
• Working within the endoscopy unit at Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary
