Job summary

Sona is hiring a Payroll Implementation Manager to own onboarding customers onto our payroll platform. You’ll conduct discovery, system configuration, parallel runs, training, and go-live, working with the implementation team and payroll bureau colleagues to ensure clean live deployments.

You’ll leverage AI tools for reconciliation and communications, while maintaining high attention to detail in a fast-paced, startup-like environment in London.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience implementing UK payroll end-to-end.
• Deep knowledge of UK payroll legislation and processing.
• Able to navigate ambiguity and adapt to evolving processes.
• Strong attention to detail and accountability.
• Experience using AI in everyday tools.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end payroll implementations from discovery to go-live.
• Configure and troubleshoot UK payroll setups, including RTI processing.
• Identify and drive process improvements end-to-end.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Solutions Architects across the journey.
• Provide on-site and remote training/support for customers.
