Job summary

The Collective Network Limited is seeking a Supply Chain Manager in Essex to run end-to-end planning for mechanical assembly and CNC machining. You’ll own the schedule, convert MRP data into production plans and oversee supplier delivery, stock and lead times.

This hands-on role requires solid engineering or manufacturing planning experience, strong ERP/MRP skills and the ability to align cross-functional teams to keep machines running and materials flowing.

Qualifications

• Solid planning or supply chain background in engineering or manufacturing
• Strong MRP/ERP capability and confident Excel skills
• Track record managing supplier schedules and material flow
• Good analytical judgement and strong cross-team communication
• Experience in mechanical assembly or CNC planning is a bonus
• APICS/CPIM or CIPS certification is a plus

Responsibilities

• Own the schedule across mechanical assembly and machining operations
• Convert MRP data into workable purchase and production plans
• Stay ahead of supplier delivery, lead times and shortages
• Weigh stock cover against working capital
• Sequence CNC jobs to keep machines running and changeovers tight
• Track delivery performance and inventory accuracy, and fix what's slipping
