Job summary

The Collective Network Limited in Essex seeks a Supply Chain Manager to own end-to-end planning for mechanical assembly, machining, and materials. You will orchestrate production scheduling, material availability and supplier delivery to maintain a smooth manufacturing flow.

Strong MRP/ERP and Excel skills are essential, with a track record in supplier scheduling and material flow. Mechanical/CNC planning experience is a plus, APICS/CPIM or CIPS valued.

Qualifications

• Solid planning or supply chain background in engineering or manufacturing.
• Strong MRP/ERP capability and confident Excel skills.
• A track record managing supplier schedules and material flow.
• Good analytical judgement and cross-team communication.
• Mechanical assembly or CNC planning experience is a bonus; APICS/CPIM or CIPS valued.

Responsibilities

• Own the schedule across mechanical assembly and machining operations
• Convert MRP data into workable purchase and production plans
• Stay ahead of supplier delivery, lead times and shortages
• Weigh stock cover against working capital
• Sequence CNC jobs to keep machines running and changeovers tight
• Track delivery performance and inventory accuracy, and fix what's slipping
