Job summary

Clear Legal & Financial Recruitment in Southampton is seeking an experienced Payroll Supervisor to join a growing payroll bureau. You will manage end-to-end payrolls for a portfolio of clients, ensuring accurate and timely weekly and monthly payroll delivery and strong client relationships.

You will handle PAYE, NI, pensions, and RTI submissions, maintain HMRC compliance, support onboarding, and prepare year-end documentation. Experience with Staffology or IRIS is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering end-to-end payroll for multiple clients.
• Strong knowledge of UK payroll rules, RTI, and year-end processes.
• Experience with payroll software such as Staffology or IRIS.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payrolls for a portfolio of clients on a weekly/monthly cycle.
• Process payroll calculations, PAYE, NI, pensions, and statutory payments.
• Be the main point of contact for clients and address queries promptly.
• Ensure HMRC RTI submissions and payroll reporting requirements are met.
• Assist with onboarding and payroll system setup for new clients.
• Prepare year-end documentation including P60s and P11Ds.
• Support process improvements and assist the wider payroll team.
