Portfolio Credit Control is hiring a Payroll Administrator for a logistics company. You will oversee end-to-end payroll for 650 employees across five companies, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Key duties include input of new starters, leavers, benefits, contract changes, sickness payments, allowances and reporting. The role emphasises attention to detail, strong relationships, and a goal to develop in payroll over time.

Qualifications

• Payroll experience is required.
• Strong Excel skills to manage data and reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail in processing payroll and data.
• Strong relationship-building abilities with colleagues across teams.
• Eagerness to contribute to the business's growth and success.
• ITrent experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• End to end payroll of 650 employees.
• Collation and input of information for monthly payroll including new starters, leavers, benefits, contract changes, sickness absence payments, allowances, maternity, apprentice levy and paternity pay.
• Advising on and keeping the company in compliance with changes in legislation and best practice.
• Administer SSP, SMP and SPP.
• Assisting in the administration of benefits schemes.
• Producing pay related reports to assist with payroll verification, analysis and statutory requirements.
• Policies, procedures and documentation kept up to date and in line with best practice; work with production to improve skills matrices.
