Job summary

Euro-projects Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a Design Engineer/Mechanical Design Engineer in Leicestershire to own projects from concept through to manufacture.

You will deliver robust designs using Creo, develop 3D models, assemblies and drawings, and work closely with manufacturing and QA to ensure on-time delivery. You will contribute to new product introductions, prototype testing, and design improvements while building your experience across the full lifecycle of product development.

Qualifications

• This role requires a background in mechanical design or product development engineering.
• A solid understanding of mechanical engineering and design principles is essential.
• Experience producing 3D CAD models and detailed engineering drawings is required.
• A formal qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is expected.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work with internal stakeholders are important.

Responsibilities

• Deliver design engineering projects from concept through to manufacture.
• Produce detailed 3D CAD models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using Creo.
• Design new products and develop improvements to existing ranges.
• Build and evaluate prototypes to validate performance.
• Utilise in-house testing facilities to support development.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, production, purchasing and quality teams.
