Job summary

Howden is seeking a Claims Professional to deliver an exceptional customer experience and handle cradle-to-grave claims with integrity. The role requires proactive communication, adherence to service standards, and collaboration across insurers, clients, and suppliers.

Regular travel is anticipated for visits and training, within an office-based setting. The candidate should have 2+ years of specialist insurance advice experience and be working towards or hold Cert CII, with strong knowledge of

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years in providing specialist insurance advice.
• Qualified to Cert CII or gain qualification within 18 months of joining.
• Knowledge of FCA/FOS, GDPR, and CII Code of Ethics.

Responsibilities

• Handle claims cradle to grave on delegated and non-delegated basis.
• Deliver exceptional claim service to every client.
• Deal with phone calls and correspondence efficiently.
• Review and challenge insurer liability decisions when needed.
• Manage own claims portfolio in line with SLA and authority.
• Build relationships with insurers, suppliers, clients, and Howden teams.
• Support team with knowledge share and coaching.
• Keep Claims Manager informed of issues and complaints.
• Maintain compliance with standards and regulations.
• Keep up-to-date with products and markets.
• Be an advocate for Howden and main contact for select clients.
