Job summary

Aviva plc is seeking a Claims Handler in Manchester to support the commercial property claims journey from first notification to settlement. You will manage end-to-end claims, coordinate repairs and payments, and keep all parties informed to deliver positive outcomes for customers.

The role requires strong customer service, excellent organisation, and effective communication across multiple systems. Training will be provided, with a focus on regulatory compliance and delivering fair outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organisational ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with customers and stakeholders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and multiple systems.
• Experience with claims handling or commercial property is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support Landlord, Tradespeople and SME customers throughout the commercial property claims journey.
• Manage end-to-end claims and coordinate repairs, replacements and payments.
• Keep customers, suppliers and stakeholders informed through proactive communication.
• Progress claims efficiently to minimise disruption to customers' businesses.
• Work across multiple systems and processes to ensure accurate, fair claims handling.
