Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Preparing and conducting End Point Assessments in line with quality assurance practices.
  • Leading Live Assessment Days and making assessment judgments.
  • Ensuring compliance with assessment plan requirements.

£38,220pa plus excellent benefits.

About the role

Are you a seasoned professional in Leadership & Management, Business Administration, Project Management, or Consulting looking for a rewarding, remote role?

We are hiring experienced and passionate Independent Apprenticeship Assessors (IAAs) to join our team on an 18‑month fixed‑term contract.

This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver End Point Assessments (EPAs) across a range of vital Apprenticeship Standards, helping to shape the next generation of leaders.

Responsibilities

You will be preparing for and undertaking EPAs in line with CMI's quality assurance practices and regulatory requirements.

We are seeking assessors with expertise in any or a combination of the following levels/standards:

  • Level 3 Business Administration
  • Level 3 Team Leader
  • Level 4 Junior Management Consultant Apprenticeship
  • Level 4 Associate Project Management
  • Level 5 Operational Manager
  • Level 6 Chartered Management Degree Apprenticeship
  • Level 6 Improvement Leader Apprenticeship
  • Level 7 Senior Leader Apprenticeship

You will be:

  • Conducting EPA activities and Live Assessment Days (LADs) and making assessment judgments on apprentice competence.
  • Leading EPA Live Assessment Activities and recommending competence.
  • Undertaking detailed checks on Gateway documentation to ensure compliance with assessment plan requirements.

  • Credible professional qualifications and experience at L5 or above in Leadership & Management, Business Administration, Project Management or Consulting, or closely aligned subjects.
  • Knowledge of apprenticeships, End Point Assessment methods, and processes.
  • Functional Skills L2 in English and Maths, or equivalent.
  • Excellent communications, interpersonal skills, and a proven collaborative team player.
