Job summary

Powys County Council is seeking a Social Care Practitioner - Enablement to support adults in maximising independence in Ystradgynlais. This part-time, permanent role is offered on a pro rata basis with a salary of £30,024 to £32,061 per year.

The successful candidate will have social care experience, strong communication and assessment skills, and a commitment to continuing professional development. The post is hybrid, with 2 days remote work.

Responsibilities

• Supports adults to maximise independence via strengths-based assessment, enablement planning and review.
• Manages a caseload, collaborates with health and community partners, promotes positive risk taking and safeguarding.
• Ensures compliance with Welsh social care legislation and CPD commitments.
