Job summary

Gloucestershire County Council is seeking an Enablement Coordinator for the Adult Social Care Enablement Service based in Forest. The role focuses on promoting independence and day-to-day living skills through supported home-based and community work, including Drop In services.

The post requires NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent, strong communication, and IT skills. Hybrid working arrangements are available, with DBS checks required and a commitment to safeguarding clients.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
• Experience working with individuals who need support to achieve outcomes
• Good interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn in-house systems

Responsibilities

• Ensure delivery of person-centred support to eligible individuals
• Gather information to support reporting of individuals' needs
• Develop and maintain partnerships to signpost as required
