Job summary

Adecco is seeking a Material Planner in Warwick to support the master production plan by creating detailed delivery plans and coordinating with the supply chain team. The role focuses on ensuring timely orders and optimal stock levels across the network.

You will work with engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, and logistics backgrounds, using SAP or similar ERP systems, and you will be evaluated on communication and proactive problem solving to keep delivery schedules on track.

Qualifications

• Experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, or Logistics.
• Understanding of Quality Systems and IT Tools.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ownership of development and continuous improvement mindset.
• SAP or similar ERP systems knowledge is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain delivery plans aligned with customer and business requirements.
• Collaborate with the Supply Chain Management Team on delivery schedules and production implications.
• Plan and oversee stock levels across the supply chain to ensure timely availability.
• Act as primary interface with suppliers, coordinating planning and delivery improvements.
• Ensure adherence to processes and systems to mitigate delivery hazards.
• Report shortages and recovery plans to protect the committed production plan.

About the Role

As a Material Resource Planning Controller, you will be responsible for:

• Building and Maintaining Delivery Plans: Create detailed plans for specific part orders, ensuring alignment with customer and business requirements.
• Collaborating with Supply Chain Management Team : Provide insights into delivery schedules and their implications for production and customer satisfaction.
• Stock Management: Plan and oversee stock levels across the supply chain, maintaining necessary inventory in the right order and timeframe.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Act as the primary interface with suppliers, coordinating improvement activities related to planning, control, inventory, and delivery.
• Process Compliance: Ensure adherence to company systems and processes to mitigate potential delivery hazards.
• Managing Delivery Issues: Report shortages and recovery programmes to ensure adherence to the committed plan.
