Job summary

Look Ahead Care, Support and Housing Ltd in London’s Ealing area is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to join our Young People Social Care Service. The role offers a salary of £30,784.00 per annum for 40 hours per week and a rolling shift pattern including early and late shifts.

You will support customers to develop life skills, promote social inclusion and encourage independent living within a team. The role requires NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in social care/charity sector and experience

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in social care/charity sector.
• Experience working with young people.
• Experience of working with a supported housing service.

Responsibilities

• Build supportive, trusting relationships with customers.
• Work with the team to manage the service caseload and admin duties.
• Support customers to set personalised goals in a Support Plan.
• Conduct regular key work sessions to achieve Support Plan goals.
• Assist with risk assessment and positive risk management.
