Job summary

Launchpad is recruiting a Young People Support Officer to help young adults aged 18-24 in Launchpad's supported accommodation in Reading. The role is full-time (37 hours per week across 7 days, 8am–10pm) with a salary of £29,175 FTE and a 7% employer pension contribution.

You will provide flexible, person-centred support, help with life skills, education and employment access, and work with partners to safeguard and plan move-on for independent living.

• Deliver person-centred support to young adults aged 18-24.

• Co-produce support plans, set goals and track progress.
• Help young people access health, wellbeing, education and employment services.
• Advocate on behalf of young people and promote equality of opportunity.
• Develop independent living skills and budgeting/tenancy support.
