Job summary

Nottingham Community Housing Association Limited is seeking a compassionate Support Worker for a 24/7 supported living service at Watson Road, Worksop. You will empower adults with mental health needs and learning disabilities to live independently, with a trauma-informed and strengths-based approach.

The role requires flexibility for shifts, including sleep-ins, and offers comprehensive training and a welcoming, inclusive workplace culture with opportunities for ongoing development.

Qualifications

• Experience in social care or willingness to start in the sector preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, compassionate and proactive approach to support.

Responsibilities

• Provide face-to-face support tailored to individuals' needs, including community visits.
• Assist with tenancy management, finances and daily living activities.
• Support development of independent living skills and wellbeing.
• Record keeping, risk assessments, safeguarding, and health and safety compliance.
