Job summary

Radis Community Care in Aldridge (WS9) is seeking a Full-time Support Worker to join a vibrant team within a supported living service for 12 adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs and autism. You will provide prompts for personal care, medication and daily living activities, helping residents enjoy independence in a safe home environment.

Flexibility is required with shifts 7am-2:30pm or 2:30pm-10pm and alternate weekends. Sponsorship is not available at this time.

Qualifications

• Ideally the successful person would have a qualification in health and social care (but this is not essential) or will have worked either in supported living settings and / or with individuals with PMLD.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompts for personal care, medication, daily living skills and activities to the people you support.
• Support individuals to keep in contact with family and friends, and help them access the community and attend appointments.
• Promote independence, dignity and choice by delivering high standards of support and tailored care.
• Assist with daily living tasks, behaviour management when needed and documentation as required.
