Job summary

Cartrefi Cymru Co-operative in Henllan, Denbighshire, invites applications for a Support Worker. You will work in a supported living service with adults with varying needs, helping them make daily choices and pursue personal goals.

Training is provided and full driving is essential. The role includes part-time shifts with weekends and sleep-ins, £13.59 per hour, plus £60 per sleep-in night and 55p per mile for travel, with a pro-rata holiday entitlement and pension benefits.

Qualifications

• Patience and empathy in daily support for adults with learning disabilities.
• Clear communication and ability to work in a team across shifts.
• Ability to record events with sensitivity and maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in making daily choices and setting personal goals.
• Assist with everyday decisions, meals, attire and activities.
• Empower people to exercise control over finances, housing and holidays.
• Provide practical support such as paying bills, home maintenance and neighbourly duties.
• Engage in structured activities to build confidence and skills.
