Forest Homecare Limited is seeking Support Workers for our Colchester team. No prior experience is required as comprehensive paid training is provided. You should be flexible and able to support adults with learning disabilities or mental health needs.

Key duties include assisting with daily activities, enabling access to vocational, educational and social activities, and helping with personal care when needed. Some shifts may be overnight and involve travel to service users' homes.

Responsibilities

• The role involves supporting individuals with a wide range of activities including access to vocational, educational and social activities.
• Supporting with home related tasks and day-to-day activities to meet service users' needs and outcomes.
• Some individuals may require assistance and prompting with personal care.
• Visits can range from 30 minutes to several hours; some sleep-in duties overnight.
• The role is varied; adaptability, common sense and initiative are essential.
• Forest Homecare provides ongoing training, supervision, and an extensive induction on start date.
• Due to the role, travel is required; drivers with a Full UK Driving Licence and access to a car are required.
