Job summary

Lifeways Group in Cramlington is hiring a Support Worker to help people live more independent lives at Emery Court. The service offers a warm, supportive environment with dedicated staff in a building with flats, bungalows and communal spaces.

You will participate in a range of activities including swimming, shopping, cinema visits and community outings, as well as support with daily tasks and personal care as needed. Full-time and part-time contracts are available, with weekend shifts on a rota.

Responsibilities

• Support with activities such as swimming, shopping, going for a coffee, going to the cinema, visiting museums and clubs.
• Assist with general household chores including cooking, laundry, vacuuming and dusting.
• Provide personal care tasks such as bathing, toileting and feeding when needed.
• Work on a shift pattern rota basis, with some weekend working.
