Job summary

Blue Ribbon in Accrington is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to assist individuals with Autism and Learning Disabilities in leading independent, fulfilling lives. Role offers days or nights, 40 hours weekly, and a pay rate of £13.14 per hour.

You will support personal care, daily living tasks, and community access while following person-centred care plans. Training and development are provided in a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• As a Support Worker, you will enable people we support to access activities, respecting personal choices.
• Contribute to and follow person-centred care plans.
• Assist with personal care, daily living tasks, and maintaining a safe, clean environment.
• Accurately complete daily documentation, including care records and incident reports.
• Administer and record medication safely and accurately.
• Support with meal preparation, domestic duties, and general household tasks.
• Provide psychological, emotional, and physical support to service users.
• Enable access to the community and support with appointments.
