Job summary

Lifeways Group in Leyland, Lancashire, is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to help adults with autism, learning disabilities, and complex needs live independently and confidently. You will deliver tailored, person-centred support and assist with daily routines, hobbies, and community engagement.

The role offers 37.5 hours across rotating shifts 8:00am–10:00pm, Monday to Sunday, with days, evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.

Qualifications

• Experience in care roles preferred, working with adults with disabilities.
• Ability to follow personalised care plans and record outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred support tailored to individual needs
• Encourage independence and promote wellbeing
• Support with daily routines, hobbies, and community engagement
• Maintain accurate records and follow personalised care plans
• Assist with life skills such as cooking, money management, and social interaction
• Join in activities like crafts, karaoke, swimming, shopping, and day trips
