Job summary

Ten90 Recruitment Group is seeking Support Workers in Watford to assist adults with learning disabilities in a residential setting. The role focuses on promoting independence and supporting social, emotional and physical tasks, including personal care.

You will work as part of a team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care and communicate effectively with service users, families and colleagues to tailor care to individual preferences.

Qualifications

• DBS check (last 12 months)
• Minimum 9 months UK experience in the care sector
• Strong English skills (written & spoken)
• Willingness to provide personal care

Responsibilities

• Motivate and encourage service users to be independent and support with social, emotional and physical tasks including personal care
• Collaborate with the care team to deliver high quality, person-centred care
• Communicate with service users, families and staff to understand preferences and needs
