Job summary

Vetro Recruitment are seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join a Wirral/Birkenhead school. You will support pupils with a range of needs, delivering engaging lessons and building positive relationships to foster progress.

The role requires QTS (or equivalent) and a willingness to adapt teaching approaches. DBS on Update Service is preferred, and you should have the right to work in the UK. This is a full-time, onsite position.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience in SEN and/or secondary settings preferred.
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to pupils’ needs
• Create a calm, supportive classroom environment with clear routines
• Assess progress and provide feedback to support development
• Work closely with support staff and the wider school team
• Uphold safeguarding policies and promote pupil welfare at all times
