Job summary

Academics is seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a warm primary school in Waltham Forest, London. The role is full-time and long-term, 1:1 support for a child starting ASAP through July 2027 at least.

You'll work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored strategies, create an inclusive classroom, and foster independence, confidence and positive learning habits while benefiting from strong education and training opportunities.

• Care for a child with additional needs and provide consistent support.
• Build positive relationships with the child and staff.
• Be patient, proactive and committed to education.

Responsibilities

• Support the learning, development, and well-being of a child in Year 1 with additional needs
