Job summary

Western Primary School in Harrogate is seeking a caring Teaching Assistant to join a friendly team. The role is term-time with training days, part-time 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:30–15:30, including 30 hours TA and 2.5 hours MSA.

The school values inclusivity, wellbeing and progression for every child. You will work across the classroom and provide targeted support, including 1:1 for pupils with SEND, helping to remove barriers and promote independence.

Qualifications

• 1:1 support for pupils with SEND
• Midday Supervisory Assistant duties
• Support learning across the classroom and wellbeing

Responsibilities

• Support children's learning and wellbeing in and out of the classroom
• Provide targeted support to pupils as required
• Assist with lunchtime supervision to create positive experiences
