Lifeways is hiring Recovery Support Workers to join our Enhanced Community Recovery service in Barnsley. You’ll help clients build independence, support their recovery journeys and work flexibly across shifts to meet lives in the community.

We value compassionate, person-centred care and a strong team ethic. The role suits someone with experience in mental health support and excellent communication, with IT skills for daily admin.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people with mental health needs.
• Understanding challenges faced by people living with mental health conditions.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Confident using IT systems including Word, databases and email.
• NVQ/QCF in Health & Social Care is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support clients to promote independence and recovery goals.
• Work closely with clients to build confidence and journey towards recovery.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation as part of daily duties.
