Job summary

Ernesford Grange Community Academy in Coventry is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to work under the guidance of teachers to support individuals or groups, including those with SEN, helping access the curriculum and maintain classroom management.

You'll contribute to a positive learning environment, build supportive relationships with pupils and colleagues, and benefit from ongoing training and development opportunities; working hours are term time plus 5 days, Monday to Friday.

• Good numeracy and literacy skills.
• Evidence of qualifications in this area.
• Ability to build good working relationships with colleagues.

• Basic understanding of child development and learning.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and learning support under supervision of teaching staff.
• Support individuals or groups of pupils, including those with SEN.
• Assist with classroom management and access to learning.
