Job summary

Westfield Junior School in Coventry hosts The Meadows Inclusion Base for up to 25 children with speech, language and communication needs. We are seeking a confident Learning Support Assistant to work alongside the Class Teacher to deliver education and adapt resources.

You will support pupils across all subjects, help build positive relationships, manage challenging behaviour, and may assist with toileting, medical and intimate-care needs.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent experience in supporting teaching and learning.
• Good numeracy and literacy skills.
• Basic IT skills.
• Willingness to support pupils with toileting, medical and intimate-care needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Class Teacher in delivering pupils’ education across the curriculum.
