Job summary

Vision for Education is seeking a Learning Support Assistant based in March to start in October 2026. You will provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with additional needs, adapting activities to individual needs and helping pupils engage, build confidence and manage behaviour.

Join a supportive school with ongoing CPD, guaranteed pay scheme and pension contributions. You will be supported by a dedicated Vision for Education consultant and work within a positive, inclusive learning

Qualifications

Patient, positive and adaptable.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Able to support pupils with a range of needs and behaviours.
SEND experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with additional needs.
Adapt activities and learning materials to meet individual needs.
Support pupils' engagement, confidence and behaviour.
Work closely with teachers and school staff to create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Help pupils develop academically, socially and emotionally.
