eTeach UK Limited invites applications for a part-time Teaching Assistant. The post supports pupils’ learning and development under guidance from teaching and senior staff, helping students access the curriculum and build independence inside and outside the classroom.

The role covers 18 hours per week across Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 8:30 am to 1:00 pm, with a fixed-term contract until August 2027. Competitive SCP 5–7 salary noted.

Responsabilidades

• Attend to pupils’ personal, social, health, physical, hygiene, first aid and welfare needs.
• Supervise and support pupils to ensure their safety and active access to learning.
• Help develop and implement student profiles, target action plans, and learning strategies.
• Establish constructive relationships with pupils, promoting inclusion, self-esteem, and independence.
• Provide feedback to pupils on progress and offer pastoral support.
• Create and maintain an orderly, supportive learning environment.
• Assist with lesson planning and the display of pupil work.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide detailed feedback to teachers.
• Promote positive behaviour and handle conflicts promptly.
• Assist with administering tests, marking and admin tasks (photocopying, filing, data entry).
• Support small-group activities.
• Deliver structured 1:1 and small group intervention programmes in literacy and numeracy.
• Support pupils in using ICT safely and effectively to enhance learning.
• Prepare, maintain and manage learning resources and equipment for lessons.
