Job summary

Bryson Group is hiring an Intensive Family Support Worker for Bryson Pathways Children’s Service in Belfast. The role involves delivering intensive, home-based support to families with children aged 0–17, with 25 hours per week and out-of-hours visits.

Permanent contract and a salary of £19,929 per year. Requires QCF Level 3 Child Care qualification (or equivalent), at least 1 year of relevant experience, clean driving license, and Access NI disclosure.

Qualifications

• Minimum of QCF Level 3 Child Care qualification or equivalent.
• 1 year paid experience working with children or families.
• Clean drivers’ license and access to transport.
• Access NI Enhanced / Garda Clearance prior to commencement.

Responsibilities

• Develop positive, trusting relationships with families to foster engagement.
• Provide guidance and encouragement to parents, promoting effective modelling and support.
• Assist families in establishing consistent daily routines and managing behaviours constructively.
• Empower families to build self-confidence and resilience through strengths-based approaches.
• Work with children and families to address multiple and complex needs, improving family resilience.
• Support a caseload of families with home visiting for up to 12 weeks.
• Deliver interventions aimed at achieving measurable, positive outcomes and regularly evaluate progress.
• Collaborate with social workers and other professionals to set goals tailored to each family’s needs.
• Participate in supervision and team meetings and keep records using a CRM system.

CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Child Care & Education (VRQ)
